What You Will Do:
- Oversee daily operation of solar PV plants, ensuring continuous and efficient power generation.
- Monitor real-time plant performance using monitoring systems.
- Identify underperformance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical, mechanical, and civil systems.
- Supervise field technicians, contractors, and service providers.
- Ensure spare parts availability and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Maintain compliance with grid codes, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and update emergency response plans.
- Analyze operational data to improve plant efficiency and availability.
- Track KPIs such as availability, performance ratio (PR), and capacity factor.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual O&M reports for management.
- Manage O&M budgets, cost control, and forecasting.
- Negotiate and oversee O&M service contracts.
- Support warranty claims and manage long-term service agreements with OEMs.
- Serve as the main point of contact for utilities, regulators, and O&M service providers
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of direct experience in Solar PV Operations & Maintenance (commercial or utility-scale).
- Proven experience in solar O&M, including: Preventive & corrective maintenance for PV/inverter/MV-LV systems, SCADA monitoring & performance analysis, Troubleshooting plant underperformance (PR issues, inverter trips, string faults, etc.).
- Strong understanding of grid codes, electrical protection systems, and HSE standards in renewable energy plants.
- Hands-on experience monitoring KPIs such as PR, availability, and capacity factor.
- Experience leading technicians/contractors and managing site O&M teams.
- Ability to manage O&M reporting, documentation, budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor/OEM coordination.
- Experience handling warranty claims, LTSA, and coordination with PLN/utilities is a strong advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and willingness to work on-site/field operations.
