What You Will Do:

• Analyze incident logs, monthly SLA reports, and identify recurring network issues
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on backbone degradation and service instability
• Propose network improvement plans to the Head of NOC
• Design and implement technical improvements to enhance backbone reliability and redundancy
• Conduct capacity planning and optimize traffic for backbone links
• Optimize routing (BGP/OSPF) and eliminate single points of failure
• Develop and execute preventive improvement plans to reduce SLA breaches
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure permanent corrective actions
• Manage improvement execution and ensure progress stays on track with agreed schedules
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (HLD, LLD, MOP, migration plans, rollback, and risk assessment)
• Present improvement progress and outcomes to customers and stakeholders
• Deliver accurate and timely progress reports to maintain service delivery and customer satisfaction

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or related field
• Has 5 years of experience in networking (ISP, Data Center, or large Enterprise preferred)
• Proven experience handling backbone/core networks
• Experience participating in major incident RCA
• Prior experience in network redesign or performance improvement initiatives
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Advanced routing and backbone engineering knowledge
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data-driven mindset
• Experience with backbone/core network stability and optimization
• Ability to develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD)
• Knowledge of fiber optic infrastructure and network topology design
• Experience in network migration, risk assessment, and rollback planning
• Strong communication and presentation skills (technical and management level)
